Having passed the CPA examination and holding an MBA in accounting along with his law degree, Mr. Marnell has established his reputation for understanding, teaching, lecturing and writing.  This knowledge is an invaluable asset in cross-examining witnesses, determining lost future wages resulting in structured settlements, and obtaining favorable judgments for clients.

Susan P. Marnell, Esq.

Susan P. Marnell, Esq.Susan P. Marnell, Esq. concentrates on estate planning, drafting of wills, trusts and related documents, estate administration and guardianship matters. Her practice also includes counseling elderly clients and their families on Medicaid, Medicare, tax and legal issues, including the use of durable powers of attorney, living trusts, health care proxies, living wills and real estate matters.

She holds a J.D. from Hofstra University. Mrs. Marnell is an active member of both the Nassau and Suffolk County Bar Association's Elder Law and Estate Committees, and has recently joined the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. She has been appointed as a court evaluator and guardian ad litem in numerous guardianship and probate matters.


Scott R. Schwartz

Scott R. SchwartzScott R. Schwartz is a 1992 graduate of the Hofstra University School of Law.  He is currently a member of The Matrimonial Committees of The Nassau and Suffolk Bar Associations as well as The Nassau County Bar Association Child Custody Sub-Committee and is an American Family Law Inn of Court.

Mr. Schwartz has drafted articles published in The New York Law Journal as well as other legal publications. Several cases on which Mr. Schwartz has worked have been published in the New York State case reporters. Mr. Schwartz concentrates in complex divorce, family law and custody matters. Mr. Schwartz has argued cases before New York State's Appellate Division, and is admitted to both the New York State and District of Columbia Bars.

 


Bruce W. Albert

Bruce W. AlbertBruce W. Albert has been engaged in the practice of family law in New York City, Long Island and Westchester as a sole practitioner and counsel to other firms since his admission to the bar in 1970. He formerly served as one of the youngest Regional Vice Presidents in Credit and Branch Administration at a major international bank and as an adjunct professor at Long Island University’s C.W. Post campus, where he earned his bachelors degree on full scholarship in 1965. In 1969 he received his Juris Doctor from New York Law School. He is an adjunct professor at Hofstra University Law School and regularly lectures at local professional organizations and schools, authors articles and has appeared on national television to speak on family matters.

August 1993, Mr. Albert was admitted to the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. Mr. Albert is a Master, Executive Committee member, and secretary-treasurer of the prestigious national New York Family Law American Inns of Court. He is also a member of the Nassau County Bar Association and of the Matrimonial and Ethics Committees, as well as the Speakers Bureau. Bruce W. Albert is a New York State Court appointed Arbitrator and has been appointed as a Referee and Neutral Evaluator in matrimonial cases.
